Al-Haj Mahmoud Habibah & Sons Sweets — The taste of Amman’s kunafa — since 1951

Our story
A kunafa recipe, since 1951
Al-Hajj Mahmoud Habibah learned to make Eastern sweets at Bab Al-Khalil in Jerusalem and made kunafa his life’s work. In 1951 he opened a small shop in downtown Amman, in the Arab Bank alley. Today more than 400 people carry on his recipe, and TasteAtlas names Habibah’s kunafa first in the Arab world.
